In the European Commission’s 2013 Special Eurobarometer 406 survey, the Netherlands had the highest share of people who said they cycled at least once a day, at 43%. Denmark followed at 30%, Finland at 28%, and Hungary at 25%. Germany and Sweden each stood at 19%, Belgium, Slovakia, and Croatia at 15%, and Latvia and Poland at 14%. The figures cover EU28 member states and compare how often people reported using a bicycle every day.
