About sources

Every episode is based not on anecdote, but on two to three verifiable sources. Captions are brief, but sources are the path through which readers can understand the story.

Sources

  • Wikipedia — after cross-checking the cited references
  • Primary reporting from reliable news organizations
  • Government and statistical agencies
  • Data portals such as OWID, World Bank, IMF, OECD, and UN
  • Peer-reviewed academic papers

Citation format

Sources are shown at the end of each episode in the format [1] [2] [3], and include the publisher's name and a direct link.
