Countries with the Most Tourist Arrivals per Resident

Based on 2024 figures compiled by Our World in Data from UN Tourism and population data, Andorra had the highest number of tourist arrivals relative to its population, at 50,852.3 arrivals per 1,000 people. Monaco, Malta, the Bahamas, Bahrain, and Albania also rank near the top. This indicator counts visits by tourists arriving from abroad and staying at least one night, shown per 1,000 people; if the same person visits more than once, each trip may be counted as a separate arrival. In small countries such as Andorra, where short visits from neighboring countries are common, the value can appear especially high.
